LyamFlow Invoices · for anyone invoicing in Switzerland

Invoices with the Swiss QR-bill

You write who it’s for, what and how much. LyamFlow assigns the number, lays out the PDF with your logo and puts the QR-bill at the bottom of the page, which your customer scans with their banking app. It works on its own, without the management software: CHF 14.90 a month, and the first fourteen days cost nothing.

14 days free · no credit card · then CHF 14.90 a month

The page is exactly what LyamFlow produces, here in Italian – it comes out in English just the same. The details are made up and the QR code is a stand-in: scanning it pays nothing.

How an invoice comes together

You pick the customer, write the line items with quantity and price, and press ‘Issue’. The database assigns the number, the PDF downloads straight away, and with one more tap the invoice goes out by email with the page attached.

  • The recipient Written once. Next time you just pick them, and the address and VAT number come back on their own from the last invoice.
  • The line items Description, quantity, price. LyamFlow works out the net amount, the VAT and the total.
  • The number 2026-001, 2026-002: sequential per year, assigned when you issue. There are no drafts, so there are no skipped numbers to explain.
  • Il PDF An A4 page with your logo and your details at the top, downloaded the moment you issue.

The QR-bill, done to the standard

In Switzerland the payment slip is the QR-bill: the square with the cross that the customer scans with their banking app, and finds the account, amount and reference already filled in. LyamFlow prints it on the bottom 105 millimetres of the page, with the tear-off receipt, as the standard requires.

It works with the two kinds of account used in Switzerland:

  • with a normal IBAN, the reference is the creditor reference starting with RF, built from the invoice number: it comes back on your bank statement with the payment;
  • with a QR-IBAN, the one banks issue for payments with a reference, the 27-digit QR reference.

The IBAN is checked before printing: two swapped digits are caught straight away, not three weeks later with a returned payment. Addresses go into the code in structured form, with the street separate from the house number, as banks have required since November 2025: LyamFlow does the splitting. You need a Swiss or Liechtenstein account: the IBAN must start with CH or LI.

Sent by email, without leaving the app

From the invoice’s row, press ‘Send’: an email goes out with the PDF attached, the same page you download. You can change the address on the spot — the invoice made out to the company often goes to the accountant — and add a couple of lines of message.

The subject line carries your business’s name, and if the customer replies, the reply reaches your email address. The list records when you sent it, so you don’t have to hunt for it in your sent mail.

Other ways to get paid

The QR-bill is the fee-free way: the money lands in your account and that’s it. When it isn’t the right way for that customer, there are others:

  • The ‘Pay online’ link If you use a payment service — SumUp, Payrexx, PayPal, Stripe or another — you paste its link into the invoice: on the PDF it becomes a clickable ‘Pay online’ line for anyone who prefers a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Your own QR code Instead of the QR-bill you can put your own code at the bottom of the page, for example your TWINT one, with a line of explanation underneath. For every invoice, or just one.
  • Just the bank details Or no code at all: the page shows the IBAN, account holder and reference, written out plainly.

LyamFlow collects nothing and never sees the money: with the link, the payment goes from your customer to your provider.

The archive, in order

  • Every invoice has its status — issued, paid, cancelled — and the ones past their due date are marked overdue.
  • When the transfer arrives, you mark it paid with one tap.
  • Cancelling doesn’t mean deleting: the cancelled invoice stays in the list with its number, and the numbering has no gaps.
  • An issued invoice can be corrected until it’s paid or cancelled; the number and issue date don’t change.
  • ‘Duplicate’ recreates last month’s invoice, and you change only what you need to.
  • Search finds everything: the number, the customer, the date written however it comes to you — ‘22.09’, ‘September’ —, the amount, the description of a line item.
  • At the top, two figures: how much you’re still owed and how much you’ve invoiced this year, with francs and euros kept separate.

Your details, written once

At the top of the page: name, subtitle, logo, address, email, phone, website and VAT or UID number. At the bottom: IBAN, bank and account holder. You enter them once in the settings, and a sample page shows how they come out without using up a number.

VAT is a choice, not an automatic: one rate per invoice, and if you’re not VAT-registered you put 0 and your note goes on the page instead of the tax. Then the payment term in days, notes at the bottom of the page, a prefix for the number if you want one, francs or euros.

The program is in Italian, German, French and English, and the PDF comes out in the language you’re working in, payment slip included, with the standard’s wording.

What it doesn’t do

LyamFlow Invoices does invoices, and does them well. It isn’t accounting software, and doesn’t pretend to be.

  • It doesn’t do bookkeeping: no double entry, no balance sheet, no VAT return to send to the FTA.
  • It doesn’t send automatic reminders or dunning letters: you see overdue invoices marked, and you write the reminder yourself.
  • It doesn’t do recurring invoices: the monthly one is made by duplicating the previous one.
  • It doesn’t do quotes or estimates.
  • It doesn’t export to accounting software and doesn’t read bank statements: when an invoice is paid, you mark it yourself.

If you need bookkeeping, your accountant already has their own software: they get the invoice PDFs, complete.

What it costs

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account with a Swiss bank?

For the QR-bill, yes: the IBAN has to be Swiss or from Liechtenstein. With a foreign account you can use the ‘Pay online’ link, your own QR code or just the bank details instead.

Can I invoice in euros?

Yes. Each invoice is in francs or euros, and the QR-bill accepts both currencies too. The archive totals stay separate by currency.

And if I’m not VAT-registered?

Set the rate to 0: the page shows no tax and prints your VAT note in its place. If you are registered, enter your rate and your UID number.

I already have LyamFlow’s management software. Do I need this as well?

No: invoices are already in the Basic and Pro plans, and you switch them on in the settings. LyamFlow Invoices is the same thing, for anyone who doesn’t need the management software.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It opens in the browser, on a computer or a phone, and the browser itself prepares the PDF, in a moment.

Who can see my invoices?

Whoever runs your business on LyamFlow: the owner and the managers. Each business has its own numbering and its own archive, separate from everyone else’s.
