Website for gyms and personal trainers

People decide to start training once, usually on a Monday, and they search straight away. They go with whoever tells them on one screen what classes there are, at what time and how to do the first session. Your gym’s website is ready in five minutes and it’s free.

How beginners choose a gym

On times and distance, then on atmosphere. Someone searching “Pilates Lugano” or “personal trainer Bellinzona” wants to know whether there’s a class when they’re free, what the membership really costs and whether they can try before they sign. The gym that says so straight away gets the visit; the one that asks people to “drop by reception” often doesn’t.

For a personal trainer, the site has a different job: saying who they are. People are trusting someone with their body, and they want to see them, know what they’ve studied, who they work with — beginners, over-60s, athletes, people coming back from an injury. A social media profile shows the workouts; a website explains the method and the price.

And then there’s September, and there’s January: the two times of year when searches explode. A site that’s ready before those months works for you while the others are printing flyers.

What to put on a gym’s website

The site comes with the words of the sport — classes, memberships, free trial — and with the right kind of photos, ready to swap for ones of your own gym.

  • Classes and disciplines What you do, who it suits, what level you need. One line per class, with how long the session lasts.
  • Weekly timetable Class days and times, written in the text and not inside an image: that way they can be read on a phone, and Google reads them too.
  • Memberships Monthly, class pass, annual, with the price. A joining fee and terms written out plainly remove any suspicion of a trap.
  • Instructors Who teaches what, with their qualifications. For a personal trainer, it’s the most important section of the site.
  • The gym The training floor, the equipment, the changing rooms, the showers. Someone who has never set foot in a gym needs to see it first.
  • Free trial The button that closes every page: whoever taps it messages or calls you to set up the first session.

Three templates for gyms and personal trainers

All twenty-eight templates are available, and none costs more. These three are the most natural starting points: you can switch template later without losing your text.

  • Spettro Colour instead of boxes, in steps as you scroll down: energetic without shouting.
  • Slancio Optical white and electric blue, a page that moves under your fingers: for the modern studio.
  • Manifesto Huge, staggered type, like a poster: for the functional training box or the boxing gym.

The September and January searches

Sports searches are made of a discipline and a place: “yoga Mendrisio”, “CrossFit Lugano”, “home personal trainer Locarno”. The site’s automatic title starts from the name, category and town; every class you describe adds its discipline.

Before the peak months:

  • write each discipline by name, even the ones that seem obvious;
  • keep the class timetable in the site’s text and update it when it changes;
  • link the site to the gym’s Google Business Profile, with photos of the training floor.

Students, classes and memberships in one place

The site on its own is free. LyamFlow’s management software for sport keeps your students with their date of birth, the class calendar, courses with their length, memberships and takings.

A fourteen-day trial, then the Basic plan.

How it works, trade by trade: management software for your business.

Frequently asked questions

I’m a personal trainer without a gym. Is it still worth it?

Yes — in fact, the site is your gym. Describe your method, who you work with, where you train your clients — in the park, at their home, online — and the price of your sessions.

Can I publish the class timetable?

Yes, in a text section or in the site’s opening hours. Write it as text, not as an image: it reads better on a phone and Google understands it.

Can people book the free trial from the site?

The button brings in the contact with one tap — WhatsApp, call or email — and you set the trial session.

Does it work for yoga, Pilates, dance, martial arts?

Yes: when you sign up, choose “Gym and sport”, and the site comes with the right words. Your discipline goes in the name and the text.

How much does it cost?

The site: nothing, forever. Your own domain: CHF 9 a month plus registration. The management software with students and memberships: CHF 29.90 a month after the trial.
