Website for barbers

People choose a barbershop by its fades. The site shows them big, puts the prices for a cut and a beard trim alongside, and leaves visitors just one thing to do: message you. It’s ready in five minutes and costs nothing.

How people choose a barbershop today

From the photos, nearly always on a phone. Someone searching ‘barber’ plus the name of the town wants to see three things: whether you can do the cut they have in mind, what it costs with a beard trim, and whether they can come in without waiting a week. A site that answers those three questions on the first screen does the work of good word of mouth.

Barbershops live on regulars, but they grow with new customers: someone who’s just moved to the area, someone who works nearby, someone passing through with a dinner that evening. These are people who don’t know you and have no friend to ask. They have Google, and Google shows whoever has a site with the answers.

It works the other way round too: a regular who wants to send a friend your way no longer explains how to get there. They send the link.

What to put on a barbershop’s website

The sections already come with the words of the trade — services, work, appointment — and you reorder them by dragging.

  • Prices in plain sight Cut, fade, beard, shave, children’s cut. A written price heads off the most common question and puts everyone on the same footing, new customers and regulars alike.
  • The fades The gallery is your calling card: line-ups, fades, sculpted beards. Photograph the work as soon as it’s finished, in the shop’s own light.
  • Who’s behind the chair The barbers’ names and what each does best. In a barbershop people get attached to the hands, not the sign.
  • Opening hours and busy days If Saturday morning has been fully booked for days, say so: whoever reads it comes on Thursday evening instead of not coming at all.
  • Frequently asked questions Can I walk in without an appointment? Can I pay by card? Is there parking? Three lines that save ten phone calls a week.
  • The button to message you WhatsApp, call or email at the bottom of every page, with the address and map.

Three templates for barbers

All twenty-eight templates are available, and none costs more. These three are the most natural starting points: you can switch template later without losing your text.

  • Insegna Huge type and blocks of colour: the digital equivalent of a hand-painted shop sign.
  • Cardine Dark, with panels that settle one on top of another: for the barbershop with low lights and a leather chair.
  • Manifesto A poster that rearranges itself as you scroll. For those with a personality to show even before the haircuts.

The searches that bring customers through the door

‘Barber near me’, ‘barber shop Locarno’, ‘hot towel shave’: these are searches made on the move, often just minutes before someone wants to walk in. Google answers first with the map and then with websites, and rewards whoever has a complete Business Profile and a site that says the same things.

The LyamFlow site starts with the right title already — the barbershop’s name, ‘Barber’ and the town — and goes into the sitemap we submit to search engines as soon as it’s published. That leaves you three things to do, once:

  • link the site to the barbershop’s Google Business Profile, in the website field;
  • use your customers’ words in the text: ‘taper’, ‘fade’, ‘beard trim’, ‘men’s haircut’;
  • add photos of new work now and then: a site that changes gets visited more often, by Google too.

If your appointment book is a notebook by the till

The site is free even if you never touch anything else. But when appointments start overlapping, LyamFlow has management software for salons: the day’s calendar, services with their duration — twenty minutes for a beard, half an hour for a cut — clients, ten-cut packages and takings.

Free to try for fourteen days; then it’s the Basic plan.

How it works, trade by trade: management software for your business.

What it costs

  • Free the website, forever Every template and every section, published at lyamflow.com/s/barberia-fendente. No credit card.
  • CHF 9 / month your own domain Optional: your own .ch or .it address instead of the free one, plus the domain registration.
  • CHF 29.90 / month Basic plan, with the management software Calendar, services with their duration, clients, packages and the barbershop’s takings. After a 14-day trial.

Frequently asked questions

Does the site take appointments too?

The site brings you the contact: whoever’s looking messages you on WhatsApp, calls you or sends you an email with one tap. You set the appointment, and if you like you log it in the management software.

Can I say we take walk-ins too?

Of course, and it’s one of the most searched-for pieces of information. Put it on the first screen or with your opening hours, along with the times when there’s the best chance of getting a chair.

How long does it take to get it online?

The barbershop’s name, the trade, a phone number and the template: five minutes, and the site is published. You sort out text and photos afterwards, with the site already live.

Can I use an address like barberiafendente.ch?

Yes, by connecting your own domain: CHF 9 a month plus registration. Without one, the site stays free at lyamflow.com/s/ followed by the name you choose.

And if I have two barbershops?

The first site is free; to have a site for each shop from the same account there’s the Pro plan, which handles up to five.

Your barbershop online before you close tonight

Five minutes between customers is enough: name, trade, template. The rest you can sort out once the shutters are down.
