Professional websites in Switzerland

A website made for a Swiss business isn’t a foreign site with the prices swapped: it speaks more than one language, shows amounts in francs and lives at a .ch address. LyamFlow builds it with AI, and the first one is free.

What’s different about a Swiss website

Three things, and all three are visible at first glance: the language (often more than one in the same canton), the currency, which is the franc and is written CHF 1'250, not €1,250, and the address, because in Switzerland a .ch domain says ‘we’re here’ far more clearly than any sentence on the page.

These are details a template bought elsewhere doesn’t have, and you notice them when they’re missing. A price list in euros on a Lugano website doesn’t make the business look international: it suggests someone else made the site, from far away, without looking.

LyamFlow was born here and bills in francs. That’s not a marketing line: it’s the currency Stripe charges the subscription in, and it’s why the amounts you read on this site are the same ones you’ll find on your bank statement.

Four languages, and here they’re not an extra

The product speaks Italian, German, French and English: whoever opens the site sees it in the language their phone is set to. In a country with four national languages and tourism arriving across all three borders, that’s the difference between a customer who books and one who closes the page.

It matters most in places people pass through. A restaurant in Lugano gets people from Zurich and from Milan on the same evening; a hotel in Locarno has German guests in summer and French ones on long weekends. A list of services only in Italian doesn’t lose them all, but it loses enough to be felt at the end of the season.

Who uses it in Switzerland

The builder is the same for everyone, but the pages it puts together aren’t: they start from what the trade needs to show.

  • Restaurants, grotti and pizzerias An always up-to-date menu, opening hours and booking right on the page. The restaurant websites page tells the whole story.
  • Tradespeople and firms Plumbers, electricians, painters and decorators, building firms: what you do, where you work, finished jobs in photos and a way for people to call you.
  • Practices and professionals Lawyers, accountants, architects, physiotherapists: who you are, what you do, how to book an appointment without picking up the phone.
  • Salons and wellness Hairdressers, barbers, beauticians: the price list with duration and price, and the calendar that takes appointments even on a Sunday.
  • Shops and boutiques Where you are, when you’re open, what you sell. The three questions people ask Google before getting in the car.
  • Hotels and guesthouses Rooms, rates and availability, with the deposit on confirmation calculated at the percentage you choose.

The .ch domain, and the address you get straight away

The site goes live as soon as it’s ready at lyamflow.com/s/yourname, without buying anything. When you want an address of your own — yourname.ch — you connect it from the settings: CHF 9 a month, plus the domain registration, which varies from one extension to another.

The .ch is worth more than it seems. It’s the extension search engines associate with Switzerland, the one people expect when typing a name from memory, and the one a customer reads on the van or the business card without having to wonder whether the site is still live.

When you connect your own domain, the site’s canonical URL points there and the lyamflow.com address leaves our sitemap for search engines: what ends up in Google is the domain you pay for, not ours.

What it costs, in francs

  • Free one website, forever The builder, every template, every section and publishing. No credit card and no expiry date.
  • CHF 9 / month your own domain Plus the domain registration, which depends on the extension. It’s the only thing we genuinely buy from someone else, every year.
  • CHF 29.90 / month Basic plan The site plus the full management software for the business: bookings, clients, price list, takings, staff.

Amounts are in Swiss francs and you’re charged in francs: no surprise conversion between what you read and what you pay. The Pro plan, for anyone with up to five businesses, is CHF 79.90 a month.

Getting found, here

A site nobody opens is no use. These are the things LyamFlow builds in by itself, and that are worth more to a local business than any keyword:

  • Title, description and favicon for every page, written for Google
  • Content already in the document: search engines read it without having to run anything
  • Lightweight pages that open even on a mobile signal down in the valley
  • Published sites go into the sitemap we submit to search engines

The rest is your job, and it’s worth saying so rather than promising it: the Google listing with address and opening hours, a few real photos, and the name of your town written where it makes sense. Those are the three things that make the difference for ‘restaurant Bellinzona’, far more than any technical trick.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be in Switzerland to use LyamFlow?

No. The product works the same everywhere, and there are businesses using it from Italy. The subscription currency stays the franc: from a euro account, your bank does the conversion at the day’s rate.

Is the site in one language or several?

The product’s interface speaks Italian, German, French and English. The content of your site is yours to write: if your audience is mixed, it pays to look after at least the sections that decide things — opening hours, prices and how to reach you.

Can I have a .ch domain if I don’t have a registered company?

A .ch doesn’t require you to be a Swiss company, and anyone can register one. What you need is a valid contact address, which you’re asked for when you register the domain.

Where are the sites and the data hosted?

The sites are served from a global content delivery network and the data is stored on Supabase. If you have specific requirements about where data is kept — as medical practices and some regulated professions do — it’s worth talking it through before you start.

Do you also build custom websites?

The builder is designed so you can make the site yourself in a few minutes. If you’d rather have it made for you, you can start with a consultation, and agencies that build sites for their own clients have LyamFlow Partner.

I already have a site. Can I keep it and use just the bookings?

Yes. The booking form embeds in the site you already have with a few lines of HTML, and the bookings still land in the management software. The online bookings page explains how.
